YogaMini

Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 15, 2026  ·  Last updated: May 16, 2026

Short version: YogaMini is built for kids. We don't collect personal information, we don't show ads, and we don't have user accounts. The app works almost entirely offline. The only data sent off the device by YogaMini itself is (a) what's strictly required to process an in-app purchase — handled by Apple, Google, or our purchase provider, (b) a small amount of fully anonymous, aggregate product-usage data (e.g. which decks are popular), and (c) anonymous crash reports (stack trace + OS version, no PII or user text) so we can fix bugs. These signals carry no identifier of any kind and cannot be tied back to a device or a child. (If the device owner has turned on iCloud Backup or Google Auto Backup, the operating system may include local app preferences in its own encrypted backup — see section 4.)

1. Who we are

YogaMini ("the app", "we", "us") is published by KosmoGames Studios. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when it is used on a phone or tablet.

If you have questions about this policy, you can reach us at support@kosmogames.com.

2. Children's privacy

YogaMini is intended for children aged 4–10 and is published in the Designed for Families program on Google Play and the Made for Kids category on the Apple App Store.

The app is designed to be compliant with:

We do not knowingly collect personal information from any user, including children. The app does not ask for a name, email, phone number, location, photo, contact list, or any login credentials.

3. Information we do not collect

YogaMini does not collect, store on our servers, or transmit to us any of the following — regardless of any in-app setting:

The app contains no advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics SDKs, and no social login. There is no user account system.

3.1 Anonymous product analytics

To help us understand which poses, decks, and features families enjoy most, YogaMini sends a small amount of fully anonymous, aggregate product-usage data to a server operated by KosmoGames Studios. These events carry no identifier of any kind — no name, no email, no advertising ID, no device ID, and no per-install random identifier. There is no way for us to link two events to the same device or to the same person, including the same child. The data exists only as aggregate counts (e.g. "how many times was Tree Pose opened today across all users") — the same kind of aggregate signal that Apple and Google already share with developers about country, downloads, and purchases.

The events that are sent are limited to:

We do not collect free-text input, session durations, precise timestamps that would allow re-identification, location, or any data about the child specifically. Because the data is anonymous and aggregate, it does not constitute personal information under COPPA, GDPR (Recital 26), or Quebec Law 25, and no consent mechanism is required to process it.

3.2 Crash and error reports

To detect bugs and improve stability, YogaMini may send anonymous crash and error reports to Sentry (operated by Functional Software, Inc.). A crash report includes only:

Crash reports contain no name, email, advertising ID, location, or user-entered text. Any free text typed inside the app — for example a custom name for a Magic Path — is automatically scrubbed from the report before it is transmitted. Crash reports are used only to fix bugs; they are not used for analytics, profiling, advertising, or behavioral tracking. No performance traces, session replays, or user profiles are collected. Sentry's privacy practices are described at sentry.io/privacy.

4. Information stored locally on the device

To make the app work, YogaMini saves a small amount of data on the device itself using the operating system's standard local storage. This data is never sent to our servers. It includes:

Operating system backups. If the device owner has enabled the platform's automatic backup feature — iCloud Backup on iOS/iPadOS or Google Auto Backup on Android — the operating system may include this local app data in the encrypted backup it manages on the device owner's behalf. These backups are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies; YogaMini does not control, access, or receive them. Auto backup can be turned off in the device's system settings.

Local app data is removed when the app is uninstalled (subject to any backup retained by the operating system).

5. In-app purchases

YogaMini offers optional one-time in-app purchases that unlock additional yoga cards. There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges.

When a purchase is made, the transaction is processed by:

We use RevenueCat as a technical provider to validate purchase receipts and restore previous purchases on a new device. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, non-personal identifier and the receipt issued by Apple or Google. RevenueCat does not receive a name, email, address, or any other personal information from YogaMini. RevenueCat's privacy practices are described at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Before any purchase flow can be reached, the app presents a parental gate (a simple math question) to confirm that an adult is making the decision.

6. Third-party services

YogaMini uses only the minimum third-party services required for the app to function:

The app does not use Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Meta SDK, TikTok SDK, Crashlytics, AdMob, Unity Ads, or any other third-party analytics or advertising service.

The optional anonymous product analytics described in section 3.1 are sent only to a first-party server operated by KosmoGames Studios. They are not handled by any third-party analytics provider, are not used to build advertising profiles, and are never sold or shared.

7. Advertising

YogaMini contains no advertising of any kind — no banner ads, no interstitials, no rewarded ads, no sponsored content, and no third-party promotional tracking.

8. Links to other content

The app does not link children out to websites, social networks, advertising, or third-party content. There are no in-app social sharing features, no ad clicks, and no embedded third-party content. The only external link inside the app is to this Privacy Policy itself, accessible from the Settings screen — a parent-facing area that does not appear during normal play. Any in-app purchase flow is protected by a parental gate (a simple math question) before it can be reached.

9. Data security

Because we do not collect or transmit personal data from the app, there is no user database that could be exposed. The small amount of preference data stored on the device is protected by the device's own operating system. Purchase receipts are transmitted over standard encrypted connections (HTTPS / TLS) by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.

10. Your rights

Because YogaMini does not maintain user accounts or store personal data on our servers, there is no personal profile for us to access, modify, export, or delete. To remove all locally stored app data, simply uninstall the app from the device.

If you live in a region with specific privacy rights (such as the EU, UK, California, or Quebec) and you believe we hold information about you, you may contact us at support@kosmogames.com. We will respond within 30 days.

11. International users

YogaMini is available worldwide. Because the app does not transmit personal data to us, no international transfer of personal information takes place through normal use of the app. Purchases are processed in your country by Apple or Google, in line with their own privacy policies.

12. Changes to this policy

If we ever update this Privacy Policy — for example, to reflect a new feature or a change required by law — we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and post the new version at this same URL. Material changes that affect what data is handled will also be communicated inside the app where appropriate.
